Hello friends! Today I am writing for you another mouth watering,yummy and delicious quick recipe of healthy green peas (matar). So here we go…

Ingredients
- Green Peas – 2 bowl
- Oats – 3-4 teaspoon
- Cornflour – 3-4 teaspoon
- Salt
- Black Salt
- Roasted Cumin (Jeera) Powder
- Heeng
- Chat Masala
- Grated Ginger
- Fresh Coriander – finely chopped
- Green Chilli & Garlic (optional)
- Olive Oil/Refind/Ghee
Process to make Green peas (matar)tikki:
- Wash the pealed peas properly with water and dry it out to soak away all moisture from it.
- Put the washed and dried peas into grinder, add finely chopped Green chilli and garlic to it. Grind for sometime till you get a fine Green paste.
- Put the paste into a bowl. Now add 3-4 spoons oats and mix well. Add 3-4 spoons cornflour for binding.You can add more oats and cornflour to the mixture based on the consistency.
- Next add to the mixture salt, black salt, roasted cumin powder, heeng, chat masala, grated ginger and washed & finely chopped green coriander.
- Mix well all the ingredients to make a uniform green paste. Put the paste aside for 2 minutes so that it settles down.
- Now it’s time to put our frying pan on stove.Grease the pan with little bit of olive oil and heat it.
- Grease some oil on your hands and make small tikkis from bright green paste.Lower down the flame and put green tikkis on the pan one by one.
- Add a little bit oil from sides. Cook the tikkis well on medium flame from both sides till they become crisp golden brown. Do not turn the tikki until it is cooked properly and becomes crispy from one side otherwise it could break.
And that’s it !! Amazing healthy and tasty snacks is ready to be served. Enjoy it with your choice of chutney/sauce.
